The Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences is an 800-student public high school on the Kingsborough Community College campus in Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn. Following the completion of a master plan for the entire Kingsborough Community College Campus, Davis Brody Bond was retained to complete a concept plan for the design of this high school. The master plan situated the high school and established design guidelines for this and other future buildings on the campus. The high school is located near the new north campus entrance at the east end of Shore Boulevard, with dramatic views to both Sheepshead and Jamaica Bays.

The New York City Board of Education, the New York City School Construction Authority, Kingsborough Community College, the City University of New York, and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York were all actively involved in the design and development of the project. The program for the high school included general classroom clusters, computer classrooms, science laboratories, a 300-seat cafeteria, library, gymnasium, and studios for art, drama, and music. The new building is linked directly with the main campus via a second floor corridor that connects the new high school with the pre-existing Physical Education Building. This encourages and facilitates student access to the college athletic facilities, library, performing arts center, and science labs.

In addition to high school facilities, the building houses the Family College, a 100-student elementary school program (Pre-K through 2nd grade) for younger students whose parents are attending Kingsborough Community College.
